Our Story: Inspired by Family, Guided by Experience

Memory Flip Calendar was founded by Joe and Lynn in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a simple idea: every day should offer something meaningful to look forward to.

For Lynn, the inspiration comes from her work as a healthcare professional. Through caring for a variety of patients, including individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory difficulties, she has seen the importance of familiar routines, personal connections, and activities that encourage participation.

For Joe, the inspiration is deeply personal. Watching a loved one experience memory difficulties brought a greater appreciation for everyday moments, familiar memories, and the importance of maintaining a sense of independence and enjoyment.

Together, they envisioned something more than an ordinary calendar.

Memory Flip Calendar combines the familiarity of a daily calendar with interesting historical facts, inspirational thoughts, adult-friendly brain teasers, photographs, gentle activities, and opportunities to remember and connect.

The goal isn’t to test someone’s memory or measure their abilities. It’s to offer enjoyable opportunities to think, reminisce, share stories, and engage with the day.

Designed primarily for older adults, including individuals experiencing memory difficulties, Memory Flip Calendar also provides families and caregivers with a simple way to encourage connection and meaningful daily routines.

Our online calendar will offer customizable colors, favorite topics, special dates, birthdays, anniversaries, and personal memories, allowing families to make the experience their own.

And with our planned ring-bound desktop calendar, we hope to bring that same experience into homes without requiring a computer or smartphone.
